Wednesday - Part 1

As expected, bedrooms fell very quiet within minutes of lights out last night - how wonderful for all the beleaguered staff! It seemed that three rounds of hide and seek were enough to drain the last remnants of hyperactive energy from even the most lively amongst us and a good sleep ensued for everyone.

Archery, Abseiling and Zipwire were the first three activities before morning break, before two groups swapped and the third went on to attempt the infamous and now somewhat squidgy Sensory Trail; the high temperatures and sunshine promised by Mrs Brett have been swept away by what can best be described as 'grey' weather. A persistent drizzle has followed the overnight rain and the sun has yet to make an appearance. Nevertheless, the children again are well-layered and smiling (apart from those waiting for the zipwire) and continue to be in good voice as they move around the site.

Here is the latest selection of photos from Marchants Hill - stay tuned for abseiling photos which will come later when we meet up with Group 3 later in the day.

  3. Thank you for taking time out of your very busy schedule to update us with such descriptive blogs and lots of great photos (apart from yesterday's where Ellie looked decidedly terrified on the double swing!). It looks as though you are all having an amazing time.
