Tuesday 18th October 2016 - morning activities
Good Morning everyone
The day started very early for us as we had to be down for breakfast at 7.20am - and not in our pj's!
It was a bit of a wet walk over to breakfast but it is not too far.
There was lots to choose from for breakfast including, lots of cereals, bacon, beans, tomatoes, hash browns, porridge, toast, bread, jams, yogurts and fruits so everyone found something to keep them going.
At 9.00am we headed off to start our first activities - we had ball sports, tunnel trails and high ropes.
At the moment the photos will just be of high ropes but we will add the other activities later.
The high rope challenge was very high up! and involved the children going up to the top of the tower, being hooked up to lines and then going round a course designed for Tarzan! They were all very brave and everyone had a go even Mrs Wright. Some children chose to have a number of goes and even did it going backwards! Very impressive.
We hope you like the photos.

Monday 17th October PGL Residential 2016
Hello All
Sorry that it has taken a little bit of time to get something on to the blog page. We can't access WIFI in our accommodation block because we are too far away from the signal. We will do our best to keep you up to date with what we have been doing.
Our journey up was super, everyone was excited and the weather was perfect. We arrived about 1.30ish. After unloading the suitcase we settled down to have our pack lunch - although we did have to keep one step ahead of the wasp!
After lunch we headed to the large field behind our accommodation and the group, skipped, played football, played ball games, played top trumps or just enjoyed chatting.
We had a quick walk around the centre so that we could start to find our way around.
After that we were introduced to our groupie Jeana and the children got into their rooms - not much unpacking was done.
After that Jeana took us on a proper tour. Next it was tea time - everyone found something they wanted to eat. After tea we had a visit to the shop - the children loved seeing what was there and were very sensible about what they could buy.
After our shop visit we headed back to our rooms for a quick bit of eating sweets and games in the corridors.
Next we headed out to play passports to the world which involved the children heading out around the centre to find clues about countries - great teamwork was shown here.
After that is was time to head back to our rooms for a room inspection and to settle done for the night.
Most rooms went quiet very quickly and extra points were earned.
What a busy first day.
